About Mazie
I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Mississippi State University, and I worked as a Writing Center tutor during my time in graduate school working with students at a variety of levels. I also have experience working with students where English is their second language. I also have 2 years of teaching English Composition at the college level. I am eager to help you achieve your goals!

My teaching method is to keep things student centered so that the student is in control of their learning experience. Depending on what you want to specifically work on, we open with a game and shift into the lesson. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I use current approaches to teach and keep the interest of the person being tutored. My lessons are for learners at any level.
