About Kate
I'm a college graduate with a BMA (Bachelor of Musical Arts) and emphases on Vocal Performance and Music History. My academic specialties include operatic literature, early Italian vocal music, and music by women composers. I've sang as a soloist and in choirs for 15 years, and can't imagine my life without music!
Everybody can benefit from studying music, whether or not you want to make it your career. Music is meant to be fun! It's a great way to connect with other people and enrich your life, and I love to help people become more confident as musicians and people.

Hello, I'm a musician and a history enthusiast! Need help with sight reading for choral auditions? Need music theory help for college entrance exams? Struggling with a music history class?
I specialize in vocal music, but grew up playing piano and have a strong background in music theory. I work in the classical music industry and would love to help beginner to intermediate level musicians build a solid foundation in music!
