About Jacob
I am a recent college graduate from William & Mary, the nation's second-oldest school. I have a BA in History and am a member of the National History Honor Society. While at school, I worked at the TutorZone, William & Mary's tutor center, helping other students out.

I begin by parsing your knowledge about whatever historical era you are studying. I make sure you have the basic facts down (the who-what-where-when?). What happens next varies by assignment. If you have an essay to write, we brainstorm topics and think up thesis statements, based on the evidence you have. If you have to finish a worksheet, we go through each individual question. By the end of the lesson, you will have a firmer grasp on whatever era/event you are studying, why it occurred, and what its effects were.
