About Jazmia

Hey there! I'm a college junior majoring in Management Information Systems, but my heart truly belongs to the world of English and storytelling. As someone who loves crafting stories, playing with language, and helping others succeed, I'm thrilled to offer tutoring services tailored specifically for elementary and middle school students. Despite my academic focus on Management Information Systems, I've always had a deep passion for English literature and language arts. In fact, I spend much of my free time writing stories and exploring the nuances of the English language. My dedication to English is not just a personal interest—it's a calling to share my love of language with others. I come from a family of learners, including a fifth-grade sister and family members in middle school. I've had the privilege of helping them with their English assignments and witnessing firsthand the joy of learning and growth. My experience working with younger students has taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and encouragement in the learning process.
When it comes to tutoring, I believe in fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and create. My approach is personalized, interactive, and focused on building confidence and skills. Whether we're diving into grammar, practicing writing, or analyzing literature, I'm here to guide students every step of the way.

About the lesson

Approaches I Take:

1. Personalized Instruction: I understand that every student has unique needs and learning styles. That's why I tailor my lessons to fit your individual learning preferences and academic goals. Whether you need help with grammar, writing, reading comprehension, or pronunciation, I will create a personalized plan to address your specific needs.

2. Multimedia Resources: Learning should be engaging and interactive. I incorporate multimedia resources such as videos, online articles, and interactive exercises to make lessons more dynamic and enjoyable. These resources help reinforce key concepts and provide real-world examples to enhance your understanding of the English language.

3. Setting Goals: Together, we will establish clear and achievable goals to guide our tutoring sessions. Whether you aim to improve your writing skills, expand your vocabulary, or ace your English exams, I will work with you to develop a roadmap for success. By setting goals and tracking progress, we can measure your improvement and celebrate your successes along the way.

4. Flexibility: I understand that life as a college student can be hectic, with busy schedules and competing priorities. That's why I offer flexible tutoring hours to accommodate your needs. Whether you prefer to meet in person or online, during weekdays or weekends, I am here to work with your schedule.

Don't let English be a hurdle in your academic journey. With my help, you can conquer the language and excel in your studies. Let's embark on this learning journey together!
