About the lesson

As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive, interactive, and culturally rich learning environment where students feel both confident and curious.
I also draw on my background in education and psychology to tailor lessons based on age, cognitive development, and motivation type.
A standard 60-minute lesson with me might look like this:
1. Warm-up & Review (5–10 min): Quick review or small talk using learned material
2. New Content Introduction (15–20 min): Vocabulary, grammar, or cultural topic
3. Practice Activities (20 min): Speaking/listening exercises, reading practice, games, or writing
4. Feedback and Q&A (5–10 min): Corrections, tips, and personalized feedback
5. Homework/Extra Resources (if desired): Optional review materials or cultural recommendation

Bilingual & Bicultural: I grew up in China and moved abroad at 14, giving me a deep understanding of both Chinese and Western learning environments.
