College Student Studying Mechanical Engineering! Can Teach Mathematics, CAD, and Electrical Circuits

I met Makai when I joined the FIRST Robotics Team 1796. He has always been a devoted and passionate teacher in the team, encouraging his CAD students to learn how to use various computing softwares. Not only did he explain every lesson with great clarity and depth— he made it fun. As a brand new member to the team, I found intriguing the infinite mechanisms you could possibly design. Makai dedicated his after-school time to ensure all his students had a solid knowledge of the foundational skills necessary to create robotics mechanisms. This guaranteed many were prepared to step up to the challenge with confidence when they were given the task to design a their own mechanism. I recommend Makai to the other Superprof members because he is patient, fun, motivating, and knowledgeable in CAD as well as the mechanical engineering field.

Really patient with students, helps make sure students understand the material and helps anyone who may feel a little lagged behind. Has interactive teaching methods, and is dedicated to helping people of any age learn.

Makai is knowledgeable in various fields of engineering and has worked with industry professionals. I’ve worked with him for 4 years and is a great listener and gives great feedback. He’s quick to help and loves teaching. He’s patient with others, makes learning fun, and is amazing when dealing with group work. There was never a dull moment with Makai. He’s able to explain topics in simple terms and in depth when needed. All around an amazing teacher and leader.

Makai taught be valuable and important skills throughout the time we were both in the same robotics team together. Both his passion and expertise in STEM helped me achieve my goals. I 100% recommend him as a teacher.
