About Trisha

Hello! I'm a friendly and dedicated Tagalog tutor who is passionate about helping students learn Filipino in a fun, supportive, and engaging way. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to match your goals, learning style, and pace.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your speaking, reading, writing, or grammar, I'll guide you step by step with clear explanations and practical activities. My lessons focus on building confidence through real-life conversations, pronunciation practice, vocabulary development, and interactive exercises that you can use in everyday situations.

I strive to create a positive and comfortable learning environment were asking questions and making mistakes are encouraged—they're an essential part of learning. My goal is to help you feel confident using Tagalog in daily life, at work, while traveling, or when connecting with family and friends.

I'm committed to being well-prepared, patient, and supportive in every lesson. I look forward to helping you achieve your language-learning goals. Let's learn Tagalog together!

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach

My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and practical. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in the lesson. I use real-life examples, conversations, and simple explanations to make learning Tagalog enjoyable and easy to understand.

Teaching Method and Techniques

I tailor each lesson to the student's goals and proficiency level, whether they are complete beginners or advanced learners. My lessons include grammar, pronunciation, listening, reading, and conversational practice. I also use repetition, role-playing, and interactive exercises to help students build confidence and improve their speaking skills.

A Typical Lesson Plan

A typical lesson begins with a brief review of the previous lesson, followed by the introduction of new vocabulary or grammar. We then practice through guided conversations, reading exercises, and pronunciation activities. At the end of the lesson, I summarize the key points and provide practice exercises or recommendations for continued learning.

What Sets Me Apart

I am patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes because I believe mistakes are an important part of learning. I also customize every lesson based on each student's interests and learning pace to keep them engaged and motivated.

Who My Lessons Are For

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults who want to learn Tagalog for travel, work, school, cultural appreciation, or everyday communication. I welcome complete beginners as well as intermediate and advanced learners who want to improve their fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in speaking Tagalog.
