About Emily
I have worked as an English tutor at Kumon for a year. I have taught students different English topics, including reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, and more. During high school, I took honors and AP-level classes, achieving high grades in my essays, analysis, and quizzes. I have also scored in the high 700s in SAT English several times. Overall, I am very knowledgeable and passionate about reading and writing.

Hi! My name is Emily, and I am an English tutor!
I have been an English tutor for years now. I have worked at Kumon for a year, teaching elementary, middle school, and high school level reading (including grammar, reading comprehension, and spelling). I have also tutored one-on-one, in high school English. I have also taken AP English Language and Comprehension, which specializes in rhetorical analysis and argumentative writing.
I am very passionate about teaching and tutoring, and love making connections with my students.
