About Kaylene
I always looked forward to attending Chinese classes in the seven years I studied. I have tutored previously in Chinese for elementary school students for two years. I prioritize communication and the students' well-being and am passionate about making students studying Chinese just as enthusiastic as I was. I love to dance and bake, and I also love Marvel movies!

Levels beginner - 8th-grade level (HSK1-4). My lessons are very student-centered, and I spend time getting to know the student. Usually, I spend the first couple of meetings getting to know them, how they like to work, and their relationship to the subject; if they love it, resent it, or feel neutral about it. From then, it depends on what area they need help with (speaking, reading, writing, listening). I work in HSK, which is the standard for Chinese learning. I value making my sessions enjoyable for the student, as tutoring isn't always the most fun thing.
