I am an ivy-league educated philosopher from the U.S. who has recently relocated to Scotland. In over a decade of teaching at top U.S. universities I have met every kind of student and have always prioritized making philosophy, which at times seems impossible and incomprehensible, a source of clarity, personal insight, and even fun.
