About Greg
Hi, I’m Greg. I help students feel more confident with psychology, research methods, and statistics.
I completed First Class Honours in Psychology and I’m currently undertaking a combined Masters and Doctoral program in Organisational Psychology at UWA. I also work as a university casual academic, where I teach and mark assignments such as lab reports and research proposals. This means I understand what markers look for and how to improve your work against the criteria.
I support students with psychology content, academic writing, and statistics. This includes t-tests, analysis of variance, correlations, multiple regression, and multilevel modelling. I focus on helping you understand the concepts and explain your results clearly in assignments.
My teaching style is calm, practical, and supportive. Sessions are tailored to your course, your assessments, and your current level of confidence. All questions are welcome.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Psychology, University of Western Australia
• Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology with First Class Honours, RMIT University
• Combined PhD and Master of Industrial and Organisational Psychology, in progress, University of Western Australia

My tutoring focuses on making psychology and statistics feel clearer, more practical, and less intimidating. I take a student-first approach, so sessions are never one-size-fits-all.
In our first lesson, we spend time talking through what you are finding challenging, what you need help with right now, and what you want to achieve. From there, I tailor sessions to how you learn best. This might include step-by-step explanations, visual walkthroughs, worked examples, or guided practice questions.
I focus on breaking complex ideas into simple, manageable parts and linking them back to real examples and assessment tasks. This helps concepts stick and makes it easier to apply them in assignments and exams. Sessions usually run for 60 minutes and are structured to stay focused while still giving you time to ask questions and revisit anything that is unclear.
I work with students across all levels, from building confidence with core concepts to working through more advanced statistics such as multiple regression and multilevel modelling. Wherever you are at, I meet you there and support you at a pace that suits you.
My aim is that you leave each session with a clearer understanding, practical next steps, and more confidence than when you started
