I am Georgia! I am a year 13 student currently studying English, Classics, History, Drama, and Media Studies. I received both my NCEA levels one and two with excellence endorsement, and I am often referred to as the 'class helper' by other senior students.
As 'teacher's pet' as that may sound, I actually love to help other students boost their academic progress, and I love to be able to help them learn the transferrable skills that come with learning English. I often help my teacher mark and lecture across different year levels and have even been known to run a few classes in her absence ;)

I know how crazy prepping for your NCEA exams and internals can be, and I love to help out students looking for an extra hand with their English work. I have previously worked with students from other classes in my school on existing essays, helping them polish what they have already written, or sitting down and going over techniques for writing and planning work that will boost results and wow any NCEA marker. I have most commonly worked with year eleven and twelve students, but I have experience with helping middle schoolers (years 9/10) and marking year ten standards. I want to be able to equip students with skills that will apply over not only english, but any other subjects that require them to articulate their thoughts, especially in written form.
I am looking to teach students anywhere from year nine to year twelve, with typical lessons being around half an hour to an hour long, depending on what we are covering, whether you want to write or polish an excellence-level english essay, dream up a fantastic story, or simply improve your literacy skills.
