About Lena
I am a piano teacher who believes the piano is a wonderful instrument for expressing yourself. I love sharing the keyboard with my students and watching them grow. My teaching style is warm and organised, making hard musical ideas easy to understand. I have played piano for a long time, so I have a lot of experience to share with you.
I specialise in helping students of all ages, from kids just starting out to adults coming back to music. I have helped many students pass exams and reach their own personal goals, always making sure they still love the music. We will work together to improve your technique and musicality, ensuring that playing piano is fun and relaxing for you. I am here to be your mentor and music partner.
My main goal is to give you a skill that you will enjoy forever. It makes me very happy when a student masters a hard part or plays a song with real feeling. I am dedicated to your musical journey and look forward to helping you reach your goals. Let’s make beautiful music together.

My piano lessons focus on making you a complete musician who can play well and understands music theory. I start by teaching you how to sit and hold your hands so you can play smoothly without getting tired. From the very first lesson, we will work on reading music notes so that you can eventually learn new songs on your own. I mix technical exercises, like scales, with playing songs that you actually find exciting.
We will work carefully on how to make the music sound good, using volume and timing to bring the notes to life. I focus a lot on coordination, helping you master the challenge of doing different things with your left and right hands. We will play different styles, from classical to modern pop, to help you become a versatile player. I choose pieces that are just hard enough to challenge you but not so hard that you want to quit.
I am here to support you when practising feels slow or difficult. We will learn tricks to memorise music and how to perform for others without being too nervous. By creating a creative and patient environment, I encourage you to really listen to the sound you are making. My goal is to give you the skills to sit down at any piano and play music that expresses how you feel.
