About Katelyn
I am a communications graduate with a love of teaching.Learning was never something I enjoyed until I found a teacher who changed her lessons depending on the students she had, building around the needs of the student. Growing up in a household predominantly with people around me who had extra learning needs. It made me realise that not a lot of teachers understand different styles of teaching and how they can help each child individually. So that is something I’m looking to do. To help in the best way I can!

I pride myself on building lessons towards the student. I have experience teaching children with extra learning needs who might need more help and validation for their work. I have experience teaching children with ADD/ADHD , dyslexia, dyspraxia and other difficulties. It’s important to me that I’m able to give a little more help than a large classroom with one teacher can And to do it in a way where the child understands and learns!
