After 12 years of coaching juniors and adults across Brisbane, I realize that most players struggle more with visualization than raw talent. Seeing students reach Australian junior podiums reinforces that rigorous training beats natural intuition every time.
My FIDE Master status and 2450 peak rating ground every piece of advice I provide to students. I emphasize opening principles and tactical patterns to sharpen board vision. Studying alongside my own development has kept my methodology grounded in the reality of high stakes play."
