About Seungchan
I value diversity and creativity significantly more than anything. I like to compose instrumental film music, but also like to explore contemporary music. One of my musical hobbies is improvising on the music I hear. Creating my own melody based on the original music always brings me fun. One of my favorite subjects in music theory is analyzing the chord with Roman numeral and inversion as it makes me feel like a philosopher. Lastly, my musical ability that I’m proud of is being able to recognize the chord and notes I hear.

I teach beginner-friendly music theory and composition lessons, with a clear and patient step-by-step approach. I also offer ear training, helping students recognize intervals, chords, and notes just by listening. For composition students: If you share your sheet music with me, I can arrange for 1–2 pieces to be recorded by real performers, so you can hear your music come to life. (This option is available for simple solos or small ensembles.) My lessons are especially helpful for: complete beginners in composition and music theory, beginners who want to go to music college, and beginners who are interested, those who prefer structured guidance rather than overwhelming theory.
