About Niall
I have been speaking French since I was 13 as a Freshman in high school and now have more than a decade of experience. I have lived and attended school in France at Sciences Po and have been the resident francophone in my corporate roles.
Often people find my academic acumen reassuring: I completed my Bachelor's when I was 19 and my Master's when I was 21. I have had corporate roles since, but am taking a sabbatical to freelance and rediscover my love of teaching. I am also taking this time (Fall 2021) to prepare to commence my PhD at Columbia University.
Outside of work and study, I enjoy yoga, baking, spending time with my pets (cat & dog), and exploring NYC and nearby hiking trails!

I take a holistic approach to my lessons having been a tutor at the University of Montana (during undergrad) where I excelled to 400-level French by sophomore year.
I understand there is more to speaking French than answering worksheets and believe that a human and interest-focused approach is best. Let's learn what is most useful and interesting, stimulate memorization through emotional connection, and have fun with it!
