About Joseph
I’ve been coding for over a decade now. I’ve worked on projects on my own, and at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. As I learned to code, I was frustrated by the ineffectiveness of online tutorials and even most in-person methods of instruction. As a result, I developed a more conceptual approach to coding that fast tracked my learning. Over the last two years, I have seen my method enable students to go further and deeper in their coding prowess as I’ve tutored dozens of students online. I genuinely love meeting new people, and I think we’ll have a lot of fun learning together. Can’t wait to meet you!

Most people get stuck in the nitty gritty when they start learning to code. They get stuck on syntax and obscure errors which prevent them from going deeper and understanding the logic being the code. I start deeper, assisting you with the small stuff so you can focus on the big picture. Once you actually understand how the code logically works, the small stuff comes easily. Then, problem solving with code is pleasant and intuitive.

Deadly! Very good at explaining things
