About Aidan
Hi there, I'm Aidan!
I'm a passionate, calm, and patient tutor, and I'm currently studying Computer Science B.Sc. at the University of East Anglia (in Norwich).
My passion has always been Computer Science, as well as getting others to understand something that has previously challenged them. This is because I believe that anybody can be good at anything, and it's just a matter of time and the amount of effort put in.
I have experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Scratch. Additionally, I have also used NodeJS and Express when making websites.
With the perfect instructor and mindset, any student can greatly excel in Computer Science.

I employ a range of teaching styles, ensuring that every student I encounter receives tuition that resonates with them. I adapt to their strengths and flex to their weaknesses in order to deliver consistently useful and engaging lessons.
For each and every topic, I find students benefit from me giving a brief overview of the topic. While most students find this useful when it comes to learning new things, it can also be helpful to prompt students early about a topic in order to get them warmed up for the rest of the session.
To prevent students from forgetting previously learned material, I employ individualised rapid-fire question sheets for each student at the beginning of each lesson.
I'm happy to help work through and complete any work you bring me in our sessions. Alternatively, I can provide you with useful tasks to work on, both during the lesson and on your own.
What do I teach?
I teach GCSE Computer Science, A-Level Computer Science, and BTEC Computing.
Where do I teach?
Lessons take place online through Zoom, Google Meet, or Skype.
How long are the lessons?
Typically, I teach for 45 minutes to an hour.
Although other lesson lengths are fine too!
