About Daria

I hold a BA with Distinction in Piano Performance and Teaching from the Kazan State Conservatory (Russia) and a Master of Arts in Solo Piano Performance from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Switzerland).

With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of all levels — from complete beginners to young musicians preparing for entrance exams to music universities.

As a pianist, I am a winner of several international piano competitions in Italy, Spain, and the Czech Republic, and a recipient of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship for Foreign Artists, which supported my artistic development in Switzerland.

In addition to my performing and teaching career, I am also a piano blogger with an audience of more than 80,000 followers, where I share insights about piano technique, interpretation, and the life of a concert pianist.

About the lesson

As a concert pianist trained in the traditions of the Russian and European piano schools, I combine professional performance experience with a deeply personal teaching approach.

My goal is not only to help students play well, but to help them understand music at a deeper level and develop their own expressive voice at the instrument.

Rather than separating technique from music, I always work on technical development through the repertoire itself. By connecting technical solutions directly to musical ideas, students learn to solve difficulties more naturally while developing a deeper understanding of interpretation, sound, and phrasing.

An important part of my work is helping students cultivate their own artistic voice. I guide them not only in building technical mastery, but also in developing musical imagination, expressive freedom, and confidence on stage.

I also regularly organize student concerts and performance opportunities, allowing students to gain valuable stage experience.
