About Eugene

I have significant experience in tutoring. Being a concert pianist and accompanist gives me a special vision.I give lessons since my student years. My education at Moscow Conservatory enriched me with invaluable experience in teaching children and adults. Many got ABRSM graduation.I also gave masterclasses at Trinity college in London and Arnhem conservatory in Holland and aware with demands of most experienced professionals,every curriculum
requirements, ABRSM and TRINITY GUILDHALL syllabuses.
I love teaching and students who wish to do so are able to study for piano exams although these are by no means compulsory I am also prepare students for entrance exams to the Conservatory and for final recital.

About the lesson

I always carefully plan the individual program for every pupil taking into account their starting point , reasons for learning and preferred learning styles. I think that planning and preparation is a key to effective teaching. I understand that it may be challenging to learn to play a musical instrument but crucially I also know how to make the process enjoyable and exciting. Every lesson is enjoyable and conducted in a friendly atmosphere.I know when it is time to relax and when to focus my students attention on complicated details and on consolidating achievements.

I cater for all age groups in m from young children to retired adults. I also teach all levels of player from absolute beginners who have not previously learned music or piano playing to intermediate and advanced students.
Lessons with me are normally centered on learning the classical piano, but popular music can also be incorporated. As students become more proficient, a wider choice of music opens up to them and I will discuss individual preferences with each student in order to develop their particular interests.
