About Marcus
Hi! My name is Marcus and I am currently a student at Rice University studying Finance. I have been a Classically Trained Pianist for 13 years, and have had experience tutoring with the Royal Conservatory of Music. Despite not studying music in college, music has always remained a passion of mine, and I still perform in concerts to this day. I hope to be able to spread this love of music to all my students.

I have 3 years of tutoring experience, with experience at the Royal Conservatory, teaching beginner to intermediate level students. I hope to make music lessons something that can be easily understandable and engaging, jumpstarting the lifelong passion for music. Lessons will be primarily piano technique and playing oriented, with theory as a supplement.
