About Zeno

I have spent 11 years honing my piano skills at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, successfully passing the Royal Conservatory of Music practical test for grade 10 as well as the grade 10 exams for music history, ARCT Analysis, Harmony, and Counterpoint. I participated in a program called Collegium that taught me leadership and fundamental collaboration skills. I have won several competitions such as the competition held at Carnegie Hall in New York and the Mid Island Performing Arts Festival. Despite the epidemic, I kept taking part in competitions. I've also given online performances for cousins in Switzerland who afterwards expressed a desire to learn the piano. I have given private performances for Dorothy and Ken Godwin, Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival donors, and the elderly at the Amica on the Gorge. A few years ago, I participated in several afternoon recitals at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, as well as performance lessons. I've also participated in the year-end concert at my school and offered to tutor my classmates on piano at the school.

About the lesson

I provide piano lessons to all ages; I am versatile and open to all styles of music when teaching. My goal is to encourage my students to unlock their full potential all the while nourishing their passion for music. I believe in prioritizing their development in musical skills and comprehension of music theory, as it molds their musical essence and sparks innovative expression.
