About Ashley
I'm a primary Trombonist, serving as principal of a major youth orchestra in my formative years. I now attend a conservatory of music, studying music education. I have experience playing Trombone, Trumpet, and Baritone. I mostly work with students in grades 5-9. Trombone and music are my favorite things, and I look forward to sharing those passions with my students, while also teaching skills that will help engage the student in a growth mindset in all areas of academics!

Hi! I'm Ashley! I attend a conservatory of music in Ohio and am dedicated to teaching not only skills on the instrument, but skills for a growth mindset.
A typical lesson with me starts with a good basis of fundamentals and warm ups, learning the habits of excellent musicianship and instrumentalism.
Then we will move on to a pedagogical piece that addresses the goals of the student and adds to the students professional repertoire.
Remaining time will be used to play pieces for fun or to address music used for school band/orchestra.
