About Alicebenard

Umunne m ndeewo! I am a native Igbo speaker from Imo State who loves helping Nigerian and diaspora learners speak practical, everyday Igbo confidently through interactive, well-structured, and supportive lessons.
I work with beginners as well as students who want to improve their speaking, understanding and pronunciation. My lessons are simple, interactive and tailored to your pace so you don't feel overwhelmed.
My classes are relaxed and practical- we focus on real conversations you can actually use.
I am patient, friendly, and committed to helping students make steady progress at every level.
I offer online Igbo lessons so you can learn from anywhere. Feel free to message me, I would love to help you get started.

Learners preparing for travel, family visits, work, cultural events, or everyday communication

I focus on teaching practical, everyday Igbo for real-life communication — not just memorized words and phrases. My goal is to help students understand, speak, and respond naturally in conversations from the very beginning.

What Makes My Lessons Different?

Lessons tailored for children, teenagers, and adults

In My Lessons, You Will Learn:
Everyday Igbo conversations
Greetings and introductions
Sentence construction
Pronunciation and fluency
Question-and-answer practice
Igbo expressions and cultural usage
Reading and simple writing
Listening comprehension
Confidence in speaking naturally

For diaspora learners, I create a supportive environment that helps you reconnect with your language and culture confidently, even if you understand Igbo but struggle to speak.

For Nigerian students, I help strengthen spoken fluency, comprehension, reading ability, confidence, and proper sentence formation for school, work, social interaction, and personal development.

My classes are interactive, supportive, and progress-focused. Students receive continuous guidance, corrections, speaking practice, and encouragement throughout their learning journey.

Whether your goal is conversation, fluency, cultural connection, family communication, or personal growth, I am committed to helping you make steady and noticeable progress.
