About Umashree

Hello! I'm Umashree, a corporate professional at Grant Thornton and an MBA student with a passion for learning, mentoring, and helping others grow.

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have realized that some of the most valuable lessons are not always taught in classrooms. While education provides the foundation, confidence, practical application, and the right guidance are what truly help students succeed. This is what inspired me to start teaching.

I enjoy sharing knowledge because I have personally benefited from mentors and teachers who guided me at important stages of my life. Teaching gives me an opportunity to give back and help students achieve their goals with greater clarity and confidence. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student understand a difficult concept, improve their skills, or take a successful step toward their future career.

My background in the corporate world allows me to bring practical insights into every lesson. I aim to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world expectations by sharing experiences, industry knowledge, and professional best practices. Whether you're looking to improve your communication skills, prepare for interviews, strengthen your business knowledge, or gain confidence in your abilities, I am here to support you.

I believe that every student has the potential to excel when provided with the right guidance and encouragement. My goal is not just to teach a subject, but to help you become more confident, capable, and prepared for future opportunities.
I look forward to being a part of your learning journey and helping you achieve your personal, academic, and professional goals.

About the lesson

Most learning stops at understanding concepts. My goal is to help you apply them confidently in real-life situations.

As a corporate professional at Grant Thornton and an MBA student, I bring practical industry experience into every session. Rather than relying solely on textbook explanations, I use real business scenarios, case studies, workplace examples, mock interviews, and interactive discussions to make learning engaging and relevant.

Whether you're a student preparing for exams, placements, higher studies, or your first corporate role, I will help you develop the skills employers actually look for—communication, problem-solving, presentation, professionalism, and confidence. For commerce and management students, I connect academic concepts with how they are used in the corporate world, making learning more meaningful and easier to retain.

My sessions are personalized to your goals and learning style. I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on understanding your strengths, identifying areas for improvement, and creating a structured plan to help you succeed. You can expect a supportive, interactive, and judgment-free environment where questions are encouraged and progress is continuously tracked.

If you're looking for more than just a tutor—someone who can mentor, guide, and prepare you for both academic and professional success—I would be delighted to support your learning journey.
