About Gregory
I have taught the public schools in Honolulu, Hawai'i for thirty years (1986 thru 2015) concentrating in
History, Economics, and Algebra. My Master's Thesis at Syracuse University was about the Belgian Holocaust, which was published in 2010 by ProQuest. I was named, Economics Teacher of the Year by
the Hawai'i Council for Economic Education in 2015.

The teaching strategies that I employ are: scaffolding, analogies, examples, and the socratic method. The students whom I have taught are twelve through eighteen years old. However, I am not limited to teaching under eighteen years old, because an effective teacher is one that can teach the younger students.
