About Mae

With 10+ years of ESL teaching experience, I help high school and college students improve fluency, confidence, and practical English communication skills. My lessons are highly personalised, designed to match each student’s goals, learning style, and level.

I integrate grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening practice with interactive exercises, discussions, and real-life scenarios to make lessons engaging and meaningful.

I create a supportive environment where students feel motivated to participate, build confidence, and develop strong communication skills. Over the years, I have successfully guided students to improve academic performance, fluency, and self-confidence in English.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching ESL emphasises Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. I encourage students to explore language through creative exercises such as role-plays, storytelling, and project-based activities, helping them think imaginatively while building English skills.

Communication is a cornerstone of my methodology. I create opportunities for discussion, group activities, and presentations to enhance fluency, listening, and confidence in real-life situations. Compassion ensures that lessons are student-centred, adapting to each learner’s pace and style to foster a supportive and encouraging environment.

Problem-solving is introduced through scenario-based exercises, practical tasks, and critical thinking challenges, allowing students to apply English while learning to analyse and resolve problems. I also teach related subjects, including academic writing, vocabulary building, and reading comprehension, to strengthen overall communication skills.
