About Luken
I am a passionate flute tutor with 7+ years of experience teaching students from school to college level, and I truly believe that music has the power to inspire confidence, creativity, and discipline in every learner. My journey with the flute began with curiosity and slowly grew into a deep passion that I now share with my students.
Over the years, I have worked with many learners, helping them progress from beginners to confident performers. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students overcome their fear and perform on stage with confidence and joy.
My teaching style is simple, patient, and well-structured, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing control, finger coordination, tone clarity, and rhythm accuracy. I also ensure that lessons are engaging and enjoyable so students remain motivated and consistent in their practice.
I believe every student has unique potential, and my goal is to guide them with care and dedication, helping them build both musical skills and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching approach for flute is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students learn with confidence and clarity. I aim to create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated. I begin by understanding each student’s goals and level so I can design lessons that suit them best.
I motivate students by appreciating their progress and encouraging consistent practice. Communication plays a key role in my teaching, as I explain techniques like breath control, finger placement, posture, and tone quality in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
With integrity, I focus on building strong basics and guiding students honestly. I correct mistakes patiently and help them improve step by step. Creativity helps me make lessons engaging through songs, exercises, and interactive learning methods. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm, and ear training to support complete development.
