About Nae
I am a passionate flute tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, having successfully guided around 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. I enjoy helping students learn music in a simple and structured way while building their confidence step by step.
My teaching approach is based on communication, creativity, and flexibility, where I adapt my lessons according to each student’s learning style and goals. I focus strongly on fundamentals such as breath control, fingering, tone quality, and rhythm, as these are essential for long-term progress.
To make learning enjoyable, I include exercises, songs, and creative activities that keep students engaged and motivated. I am known for my patience and ability to explain concepts clearly, making it easier for students to understand and improve.
I also guide students in basic music theory and effective practice techniques. My goal is to make flute learning easy, enjoyable, and meaningful while helping students grow into confident musicians.

I emphasise fundamentals such as breath control, tone quality, and finger technique, which are essential for developing confidence and skill. I keep my lessons flexible, adjusting them based on the student’s progress and comfort level.
Collaboration is encouraged through active participation and open communication. I create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel motivated and encouraged. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm, and listening skills to support overall musical growth.
