About Cedar
Salut! Learning French should be so enjoyable! I have instructed individuals and groups of all ages and levels for the past 6 years. In addition to academia, I specialize in conversational, contemporary French. I have two degrees in french literature and art history from a French university, along with graduate level study in French translation.

In addition to working on traditional grammar, homework assignments, and test preparation, I take a creative approach using contemporary teaching methodology and references such as music, movies, and news to improve comprehension, accent, orality, vocabulary, and cultural fluency. Learning French is one of the most challenging, rewarding tasks a student will undertake and, with the right instruction, these lessons should become a fascinating, engaging experience to look forward to. I am also happy to work in reverse, from French to English.
