About Mery

I am a passionate French tutor with 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have guided over 150 learners in achieving fluency, excelling in academics, and communicating confidently. My teaching philosophy prioritises personalised learning, ensuring that lessons are customised to each student’s needs, abilities, and goals.

I use a mix of conversational practice, immersive exercises, multimedia tools, and cultural exploration to make learning interactive and engaging. My unique skill is helping students overcome challenges in grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary, turning difficulties into tangible progress.

I strive to create a supportive, inspiring, and motivating environment where students feel confident expressing themselves and exploring the language fully. Lessons are designed to foster curiosity, practical application, and measurable growth.

My ultimate goal is to help students not only master French academically but also communicate naturally and enjoyably in real-life contexts.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology is based on practical learning and clear communication. I believe students learn best when they understand how to use French in real-life situations. I use real-life examples and case studies such as travel conversations, office meetings, classroom discussions, interviews, and social interactions. These activities make lessons meaningful and easy to understand.

I explain grammar and vocabulary in a simple way and give students immediate practice through speaking, listening, reading, and writing tasks. Problem-solving exercises help students think independently in French and build confidence. Motivation is very important in my classes. I encourage students regularly and help them set realistic goals.

Integrity is one of my core values, and I provide honest feedback while maintaining professionalism and respect. I am flexible and adjust my teaching style according to each student’s level and needs. Besides French, I also teach related subjects such as communication skills, pronunciation practice, grammar improvement, writing development, and exam preparation. My goal is to help students become fluent and confident French speakers.
