About Selena
My journey with piano began with a deep interest in music and expression. I pursued this passion by completing my Master’s Degree in Piano Performance, where I developed strong technical and musical skills. Over the past 12 years, I have helped students learn piano in a simple and structured way.
I believe that learning piano should be both enjoyable and meaningful. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, patience, and steady progress. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and improving at their own pace. I also adjust my lessons to match each student’s level and goals.
I continue to practice and explore different styles of music to keep my teaching fresh and inspiring. Teaching piano is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and musical understanding. I aim to help every learner build strong skills, improve their expression, and develop a confident and enjoyable connection with the piano that supports long-term growth.

Learning piano becomes enjoyable when students feel comfortable exploring music step by step. In my lessons, I begin with simple exercises that focus on finger movement, basic notes, and rhythm patterns. I use clear explanations and easy practice methods so students can understand without confusion. This helps build a strong foundation and makes learning smooth from the beginning. I create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel free to learn at their own pace.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced topics such as reading music, hand coordination, and dynamic control. I guide them carefully through scales, simple pieces, and rhythm exercises that strengthen their skills. Each lesson includes practice and repetition to build confidence and consistency. I also provide feedback to help students improve steadily and avoid common mistakes.
My goal is to help students develop confidence and enjoyment in playing piano. Over time, they become more comfortable with the instrument and start expressing themselves through music. This builds both technical skill and creativity. I support learners in developing strong musical foundations, improving their performance ability, and building the confidence to play piano with clarity and expression in both practice and real performance situations.
