About Quiling
I have been teaching piano for 10 years, working with students of all ages, from school children to adults pursuing professional growth. My teaching philosophy combines patience, encouragement, and creative learning methods to make lessons effective, enjoyable, and personalised.
I have helped students perform in recitals, take part in competitions, and complete graded exams with success. Lessons include technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, all tailored to the student’s level and goals. I strive to make every lesson engaging, productive, and inspiring while nurturing a lifelong love for music.

I follow a teaching philosophy built on compassion, patience, and clear communication. I believe that students thrive in a learning environment where they feel understood, supported, and motivated. In piano lessons, I focus on technical skill, musicality, rhythm, and expressive interpretation, combining structured exercises with creative and enjoyable pieces that make lessons engaging.
I maintain open communication, ensuring that students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing challenges, and expressing their goals. Supportiveness is central to my teaching—I guide students patiently through obstacles, celebrate progress, and provide constructive feedback that builds confidence.
I extend this methodology to other subjects I teach, such as music theory, beginner composition, and improvisation, tailoring lessons to match each student’s abilities and interests. My goal is to provide a positive, inspiring environment where students grow musically, creatively, and personally, cultivating both skill and a lifelong passion for learning.
