About Lucy

I am an experienced Guitar tutor with 12 years of commitment to music education. I teach school students, college learners, and working professionals who are passionate about learning guitar either as a hobby or as a serious skill. My teaching philosophy is built on discipline, creativity, and consistent improvement. I begin with the foundation, focusing on finger strength, chord clarity, rhythm control, and understanding scales. Once students gain confidence, I introduce lead playing and improvisation techniques.

Over the 12 years, many of my students have participated in cultural programmes and music competitions, receiving appreciation for their performances. Some have even pursued music at a higher level. I create an environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and express themselves freely. My aim is to help each student develop strong technical skills along with a deep love for music.

About the lesson

My Guitar teaching methodology is designed to build confidence, discipline, and musical understanding in every student. I believe that learning Guitar should be a structured yet enjoyable journey. My approach is guided by Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I begin by focusing on essential fundamentals such as correct posture, finger placement, chord clarity, rhythm timing, and smooth transitions.

These basics form the foundation for advanced techniques. Motivation helps students stay consistent in their practice and overcome challenges with a positive mindset. Communication ensures that each concept is explained clearly and demonstrated practically. Integrity guides me to maintain high standards and correct technique throughout the learning process. Creativity allows students to explore improvisation, songwriting, and different music genres.

I also include music theory and ear training to help students become well-rounded and confident Guitar players.
