About York
I am a passionate and dedicated Guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, working with students of all ages—from school children to college learners and working professionals. My teaching philosophy is built on patience, structured guidance, and consistent practice.
I focus on helping students develop strong fundamentals, including finger strength, chord clarity, rhythm accuracy, scale mastery, and understanding music theory. Once students feel confident with the basics, I guide them towards advanced techniques such as lead guitar, improvisation, and performance preparation.
Many of my students have successfully performed at school programmes, college festivals, and corporate events. Some have even started composing their own music or forming bands.
I create a motivating and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident to explore their creativity. My mission is to nurture skilled, confident, and passionate guitarists who love music for life.

My Guitar teaching method combines structured skill development with creative freedom. I focus on clear and simple communication so students fully understand every lesson. Since every learner has a different style and speed, I adapt my approach using visual aids, listening exercises, and hands-on practice sessions.
Along with Guitar performance, I teach Music Theory, Chord Construction, Rhythm Training, Scale Practice, Ear Training, Song Composition, and basic Performance Skills. I connect lessons to real-life musical situations by analysing popular songs and discussing how professional guitarists build their sound.
Students first master essential techniques like posture, tuning, and chord clarity. As they progress, they explore advanced strumming styles, fingerstyle methods, improvisation skills, and expressive lead techniques.
Through regular feedback and structured practice planning, I help students build confidence, creativity, and a strong understanding of music.
