About Daphne
With a BA in Comparative Literature and over 10 years teaching Spanish, I focus on immersive learning through art and architecture. Students explore paintings, sculptures, and buildings from the Spanish-speaking world while practising language.
Lessons include art critiques, historical styles, architectural vocabulary, and cultural significance. This approach improves descriptive skills, analytical thinking, and cultural appreciation. Students learn to observe, discuss, and interpret in Spanish.
