About Lauren
I have been a nanny for 4 years now, and the subject the 10 year old struggles with is creative writing and English. Luckily, I love the subject. So working together we have found a way to make it fun for her, and she has made a huge improvement in her attitude and work! I have also helped out with secondary school ages, with English and with GCSE's. This is what made me want to start tutoring. I wanted to help others and be more of a mentor to them!

I have tailored my teaching methods to create some more fun activities for children to do during this period of time. Creative writing is a great way for children to express themselves and have fun, while stimulating their brain! My technique for creative writing is to challenge my students to think outside the box. To go against the boring, obvious choice. It isn't just another lesson, it's a fun activity for them to take part in.
