Throughout the creative writing process we'll explore:
- understanding narrative structure
- organizing plot
- elegant characterization
- incorporating literary and poetic techniques
- adapting to modules and stimulus pieces
Workshopping and tutoring will benefit you by:
- forming a stable narrative structure, in which the creative piece can flow with meaning and elegance
- organizing plot in a way that is not boring and stale, but still incorporates your individuality and uniqueness within a framework
- understanding what makes us love certain characters and how we can incorporate those characteristics within our pieces
- how to make sure you can adapt your creative pieces to modules and stimulus in an simple and effective manner in order to achieve high scores.
