I like to get to know my students, what they like, they're hobbies and interests. That makes it easier to teach them in a way that will make sense to them. They will remember it if it makes sense. I am not your average college student tutoring my way through college. I am a credentialed teacher with 31 years of experience teaching all grades, subjects and levels, who loves teaching. I enjoy teaching the basic levels, which will be mostly children, but I work well with any age. Anyone that wants to learn to read, write, speak, and understand English, or has trouble with math concepts. There are many older students who don't know how to read fluently, comfortably, or at all, or know their multiplications facts. Telling time, counting money, and fractions are all things that many high school students still struggle with. While most of my time is spent teaching English to students learning to speak English, I love helping any student with any subject.
