About Emma
Ever since joining band in the 5th grade, music has been a strong passion of mine. What I love most is helping students discover the same excitement through personalized lessons. It is through music where I've been lucky enough to form some of my closest friendships, and make my fondest memories, it truly is a special community! As a credentialed music teacher with experience leading full ensembles grades 6–12, and teaching private lessons to all ages (4years -70years), I've worked with students from many different backgrounds and skill levels. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to fit your goals, learning style, and pace. My priority is helping you become a confident musician while making every lesson enjoyable and rewarding.

My main goal is to understand what you want to get out of our lessons and help you achieve those goals. This is YOUR time, and your growth is my top priority. I typically begin by getting to know you, your musical background, and your current skill level. From there, I like to establish a "goal song", something you're excited to learn, whether it's for a special event or simply because you love it. Together, we'll build the skills needed to play it. Whatever your musical interests or goals may be, I'm here to help, so don't be shy!
