I am a credentialed high school teacher and Magna Cum Laude graduate with proven experience supporting students across diverse learning needs. My approach is structured, result driven, and tailored to each student’s goals, ensuring steady academic growth and increased confidence. I take a structured but flexible approach to tutoring, focused on meeting students where they are and helping them build confidence alongside skills.
Teaching method & techniques:
I use a gradual release model (“I do, We do, You do”) with clear explanations, guided practice, and independent application. I differentiate instruction based on learning styles, use real-world examples, and frequently check for understanding. I also specialize in supporting students with IEPs and scaffolding material to reach grade-level or advanced mastery.
A typical lesson plan is where we start with a quick warm-up or review, followed by direct instruction on the target skill. Then we work through guided practice together before moving into independent work. I close with feedback, reflection, and a quick assessment to track progress.
What sets me apart: My classroom and coaching experience allows me to balance structure with motivation. I build strong relationships, keep students engaged, and focus on measurable growth.
