About Dasha

During my time at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, I worked at all the restaurants on the premises. I got to learn from some of the best chefs and instructors, and after graduating, I have received a job at a 1 Michelin star restaurant in New York City, which is one of the most competitive culinary industries in the world. I’ve worked as a cook and a manager and one and 2 star Michelin restaurants so I have a good amount of tricks up my sleeve. Besides that, I grew up in a very big family where a lot of gatherings revolved around food. I’ve been surrounded with food for ages, and I just know food and I love food, and I really can show somebody how to become a really good cook.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Dasha and I’m a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. I have a bachelor's of culinary science from there. For the past year, I have worked at a 1 Michelin star restaurant called Cloverhill in NYC and then followed by being a sous chef at a 2 Michelin star SAGA.
I have learned a lot the past 6 years in savory and in baking and pastry, and if you need help learning how to do anything in the kitchen, I am your girl. I have a unique perspective and understanding of food on a deeper level, and I feel like I can share this knowledge with someone who cares and wants to learn.

Deadly! Dasha has used her expert cullinary knoweldge to help me explore new flavors and ingredients while teaching me some new techniques along the way. I love the way she makes more complicated dishes approachable and after only a couple of sessions I'm feeling more confident in taking on more challenges in the kitchen.
