About Jenna
My ultimate goal is to provide a comfort level with writing. Expressing ideas out loud can be intimidating... but it doesn't have to be! I am not a critical person. I only offer constructive suggestions to the writers who participate in writing workshops with me. Ultimately, the stories that you create (and I help you with) are yours, and I fully respect that!

For creative writing, I like to focus on one or two elements of story-telling. This helps learners go beyond a foundational knowledge of what goes into the art of telling a story. Example of elements that I enjoy teaching to my own students include creating and developing characters, writing engaging dialogue, and enhancing the setting of a story.
My lessons are for anyone who loves creative writing and is looking for an outlet to express their imaginations and stories. Any level of writing ability is welcomed. My philosophy is that interest-level drives and dictates ability, meaning that if you have the will and the love of writing, you are fully capable of being an awesome writer!
Writers who have foundational skills in writing conventions and technique will find easier engagement in my lessons.
