About Amy
Hi! I’m a BSc Finance student currently in my third year of university, with a strong interest in economics and business. I chose to tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students understand how these subjects connect to real life, not just exams. Having recently studied the Leaving Cert myself, I understand the pressure students face and how to explain topics clearly and simply. My goal is to build confidence, improve grades, and make learning engaging and practical.

I take a personalised and supportive approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the student’s goals, pace, and learning style. I focus on building confidence as well as understanding, breaking down difficult topics into simple, clear steps. My sessions are interactive, patient, and encouraging, creating a relaxed space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress. My aim is not just better grades, but lasting skills and independent learning.
