About Kay
Hello my name is Kay Klonowski! I am from the beautiful state of Tennessee and I am currently attending the University of Tennessee at Martin with a major in Natural Resource Management (Wildlife Science). I hope to pursue a career in a wildlife related field such as a wildlife refuge or zoo so that I can share my passion for these animals and inspire others to love them too! English is one of my favorite subjects and one that I seem to excel in especially since math is NOT my friend! I took all Honors English classes throughout high school and I completed six college credit hours of English Composition courses my senior year of high school. I have experience in small writing projects as well as professional documents such as grants. I am familiar with both MLA and APA writing formats in which I have written papers that received all As. Furthermore, my English score on the ACT is a 25 with a 24 in the reading.

My lessons will consist of helpful tips and tricks that will help students excel in their writing/English classes. I will approach tutoring with an uplifting and fun attitude to encourage each individual to reach their full potential. Typical lessons will engage the student and will be tailored to their specific needs. I enjoy letting the student somewhat "lead" where the lesson goes which will ensure they are truly getting the most out of the session. My lessons are generally for elementary to middle school students, although, I am open to high school students as well.
