About Dan
Hi, I’m Dan! I’m a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and currently working in Spain as a language assistant, where I’ve gained a year of hands-on teaching experience. I speak Spanish at a B1 level and continue improving every day. I work with children ages 5–12, so I’m comfortable helping complete beginners build a strong foundation as well as guiding more advanced learners. I can create independent exercises, lead guided practice, and focus lessons on natural, confidence-building conversation. If you’re looking for patient, friendly support in learning Spanish, I’d be happy to help!

I inspire confidence by bringing real classroom experience and a professional, reliable attitude to every lesson. As a language assistant in Spain, I help lead group activities, guide independent work, and support students directly during lessons. I also plan exercises, games, and conversation activities that create a fun, comfortable environment where kids feel safe to participate and make mistakes. This hands-on experience has taught me how to keep students engaged, adapt to different learning styles, and manage a classroom with patience and clarity. I always take care with my communication, spelling, and grammar so students and families know they can trust both my skills and my professionalism.
