About Mia
I am in my second year of university meaning I’ve experienced the perils of both GCSEs and A Level, managing to have successes in both and keeping my sanity intact (which I know can be very difficult!). I understand that the school environment can impose great amounts of stress that may hinder your learning and my desire to tutor stems from this. Whilst being your tutor and supporting you academically, I also want to help you with all other factors such as time management, different ways of studying and caring for yourself during stressful exam seasons as I will be able to give you tips and advice from when I was in that exact position only a few years ago.

My tutoring sessions last for around an hour at a time, usually beginning with a recap of the previous session and ending with a homework to complete.
I like to use active recall and conversational methods in the tutoring sessions to ensure that the student is engaged and is experiencing a different style to what their school teaching might be.
