About William
Hi, I'm Will Fischer. Nice to meet you! Providing other students with the same chance and support I needed is why I want to become a teacher and tutor. At school, I was disadvantaged. I was unfortunate enough to suffer from epileptic seizures, which inhibited my learning. I feared that I would never amount to anything. I was afraid that I would not find my passions or anything I was good at. A teacher pushed me to believe in myself. She spent hours touching base with me, asking how I was progressing. She assigned extra homework and gave me additional attention and support to show me that I am capable and can amount to something. She helped me find my passions. She pushed me to discover my English literacy passion and my love of history. Without this outstanding teacher and the chances she gave me to succeed, I would not be who I am today. I am immensely thankful and indebted to her. This chance she gave me is what I want to give you, and it is why I want to become a tutor, and it is this kind of teacher that I aspire to be. I hope you give me the chance to help you succeed as I did!

Teaching lessons are 1hr in which I provide individualised assistance according to the student's needs and goals. My lessons are for years 7-12 young adults. Although I have no official tutoring experience, I have taken relevant courses in teaching and Modern and Ancient History.
