About Jake
I know that I do not have the papers or letters beside my name that signify me as someone who is super high up in the academic world. However, I am someone that will not quit on you. I will strive to help you understand the material and apply it to your school, life, and world. I understand how it feels to need a tutor. I know that no one style fits all. I promise to be able to help you and make you feel valued. I will show you how every event connects to everything else.
I will do my best and all I can ask for is a chance.

I make each teaching session about what helps each individual student. There is no one style fits all. I adapt to the student.
Typical lesson plan is going over what you are struggling with, giving advice/techniques on understanding said material, and then helping you relate it to something current, personal, or another event that can allow you to fully understand it.
I used to be tutored for years. I know what it is like on both sides of the aisle. I understand your struggles since I went through them myself. I strive to help others learn like those who helped me.
Lessons are high school students and younger.
